Handling of Personal Information
Effective date: 2026-10-04 (last revised: 2026-10-06)
Fuji Bit Inc. ("we") handles the personal information (including personally referable information) collected through the mobile app Wagering Wanderer (iOS / Android, the "App") as described below, in accordance with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI) and other applicable laws. This page supplements our Privacy Policy and summarizes, in one place, what we collect, how and why, who receives it, how long it is kept, and your rights.
You can play the App without creating an account. Joining the leaderboard, linking an account, and personalized ads are all optional; every stage is playable without them.
1. Business Operator
- Operator: Fuji Bit Inc.
- Contact for personal information: support@fujibit.com (English and Japanese)
- Address and name of representative: provided without delay upon request.
2. Information We Collect and How
The table below lists the information the App handles, when it is collected, why, where it is stored or sent, and how long it is kept.
| Item | When collected | Purpose | Stored at / sent to | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Player name (nickname) | Name entry on first launch, or a name change in Settings ("Auto-pick" can generate a name like "Wanderer#1234") | Display on the leaderboard | On your device. If you join the leaderboard, also sent to Google Cloud Firestore (Tokyo region) and shown to other users who open the leaderboard | Device: until you uninstall. Firestore: until deleted at your request |
| Firebase anonymous user ID (UID) | When you agree to join the leaderboard (issued automatically by Firebase Authentication) | Linking leaderboard records to you and preventing others from overwriting them | Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore | Until deleted at your request (signing out switches this device to a new UID) |
| Scores and play records | Sent at the end of each run (game over) while you are on the leaderboard | Compiling and showing the leaderboard (all-time, today, this week, this month) | Cloud Firestore: best score, best stage, total runs, last-updated time, and a run identifier used to prevent duplicate submissions | Until deleted at your request |
| Linked account information (Apple ID / Google account) | When you choose to link an account in Settings (Apple ID or Google on iOS, Google on Android) | Carrying records over to a new device or reinstall; identity verification | Firebase Authentication records the Apple / Google account identifier and email address (a relay address if you use Apple's Hide My Email), and for Google may also record the display name and profile photo URL. None of this is shown on the leaderboard or to other users | Until you unlink, or until deleted at your request |
| Advertising information (advertising ID, IDFA / IDFV, IP address, approximate location, device information, ad interactions, diagnostics, etc.) | When ads are shown, after you answer the ad question on first launch (on iOS, after you tap "Continue") (collected directly by the Pangle SDK; the iOS IDFA only if you allow tracking in ATT) | Ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention; personalized ads only with your consent | Pangle and advertising partners that bid for the ad | As set out in Pangle's privacy policy |
| Purchase information | When you buy or restore "Remove Ads" or the "10 Tickets Pack" | Granting purchased items; restoring purchases | Payments are processed by Apple (App Store) / Google (Google Play). We never receive card numbers or other payment details. Purchase status is stored on your device | Device: until you uninstall. Stores: per each store's policy |
| Gameplay data on your device | During play (high scores, lifetime stats, badges, ticket balance, settings, your ad choice, the last-played date used by the daily reminder, etc.) | Running the game and showing your records | On your device only (UserDefaults on iOS, SharedPreferences on Android); not sent anywhere except the leaderboard items above | Until you uninstall or reset it in Settings |
| Inquiries | When you email us with a question or request (email address, name, message) | Answering inquiries, handling requests, identity verification | Our email system | As long as needed to respond; deletion-request emails for 90 days after completion |
The App does not ask for your real name, postal address, phone number, or device location (GPS, etc.). When you link with Apple ID, Apple's screen may ask whether to share your name, but the App neither stores nor transmits it. Because player names are public on the leaderboard, please do not use your real name or anything that identifies you.
3. Purposes of Use
We use personal information only for the following purposes:
- Providing the App's game features (records, badges, tickets, etc.)
- Compiling and displaying the global leaderboard
- Carrying records over through account linking, and identity verification
- Delivering and measuring ads (personalized ads only with your consent)
- Granting in-app purchases and restoring them
- Responding to inquiries and requests
- Preventing abuse, handling failures, and improving the service
We will obtain your consent in advance before using personal information beyond these purposes.
4. Third-Party Provision and External Transmission
Except as required by law, we do not provide personal information to third parties without your consent. The App uses the following services for the purposes above, and information is sent to these providers:
- Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication / Cloud Firestore, provided by Google LLC, USA): storage of leaderboard and account-linking data. Firestore data is stored in the Tokyo region (asia-northeast1), but authentication data may be processed on servers outside Japan, including in the United States. We entrust this processing to Google. Privacy and Security in Firebase
- Sign in with Apple (Apple Inc., USA) / Google Sign-In (Google LLC, USA): account linking, if you choose it
- Pangle (an advertising platform operated by the Bytedance group; a provider outside Japan) and advertising partners that bid for the ad: ad delivery. The Pangle SDK does not start until you answer (on iOS, tap "Continue" on) the ad question. Pangle End User Data Privacy Policy
- App Store (Apple Inc.) / Google Play (Google LLC): in-app purchase payments
By the nature of the leaderboard, your player name, score, best stage and total runs are shown to other users who open the in-app leaderboard.
5. Provision to Third Parties in Foreign Countries
As described in section 4, using the App may involve providing or transmitting personal information (including personally referable information) to providers outside Japan. As required by the APPI, we provide the following information:
- Country of the recipient: United States (Google LLC, Apple Inc.). For Pangle and its advertising partners, their location and data storage locations are set out in Pangle's privacy policy.
- That country's personal information protection system: The United States has no comprehensive federal law equivalent to the APPI; personal information is protected by state laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and by sector-specific laws. For details on each country's system, see the Personal Information Protection Commission of Japan's survey of foreign personal information protection systems (Japanese).
- Measures taken by the recipient: Google applies security measures such as encryption and access control under the Firebase Data Processing and Security Terms. Apple, Google and Pangle handle information under their respective privacy policies. We use each provider after reviewing its terms of service and privacy policy.
Leaderboard participation (transmission to Firebase) starts only after you agree in the consent dialog shown on the leaderboard screen.
6. Security Measures
To prevent leakage, loss or damage of personal information, we take the following measures:
- Technical: All communication is encrypted with HTTPS (TLS). Cloud Firestore security rules allow reads only by authenticated users, restrict writes to the document matching your own UID, validate name length and score ranges, and forbid deletion from the client.
- Organizational and personnel: Access to personal information and to the Firebase console is limited to authorized staff, and viewing or use beyond the stated purposes is prohibited.
- Data minimization: Only the minimum information needed for the leaderboard is sent; we do not collect payment details, real names or addresses. Firebase does not start until you agree to join the leaderboard, and the ad SDK does not start until you respond to the ad screen on first launch.
- Understanding the external environment: For information processed on servers outside Japan, we handle it with an understanding of the recipient country's system, as described in section 5.
7. Your Rights (Access, Correction, Deletion, Suspension of Use)
You may request notification of the purposes of use, disclosure (including records of provision to third parties), correction, addition or deletion, suspension of use or erasure, and suspension of third-party provision of personal information we hold about you. Many of these can be done yourself inside the App.
7-1. In the App
- Correct your player name: change it from the player name in Settings. The new name is also applied to the leaderboards for the current periods (all-time, today, this week, this month).
- Stop sending to the leaderboard: turn off "Join leaderboard" in Settings; no further scores are sent (to erase data already sent, see 7-3).
- Unlink an account: "Unlink Apple" / "Unlink Google" in Settings removes the Apple / Google association while keeping your records.
- Sign out: "Sign out" in Settings leaves the linked account and switches this device to a new anonymous ID.
- Ad settings: change your consent to personalized ads anytime from "Ad settings" in Settings. On iOS use Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking; on Android reset or delete the advertising ID under "Ads" in the device settings.
- Delete on-device data: "Reset Best Record" / "Reset Badges" in Settings, or uninstall the App.
7-2. By email
Send requests for disclosure, correction, suspension of use and the like to support@fujibit.com. Because leaderboard data is managed under an anonymous ID, we will ask for details such as your player name, the approximate time you last played, and (if linked) the email address of the linked account, in order to locate your records and verify your identity. Once your identity is verified, we will respond without delay.
7-3. Deletion
To delete your leaderboard records and Firebase account, use "Delete account / data" in Settings or follow the Account / Data Deletion Request page. We delete the data and confirm completion within 30 days.
For access or deletion of information collected by Pangle, contact Pangle through the channels described in its privacy policy.
8. Minors
If you are a minor, please obtain your parent's or guardian's consent before joining the leaderboard, linking an account, or making in-app purchases. Do not include your real name, school name or other identifying information in your player name. Parents or guardians who want a child's information deleted can contact us as described in section 7.
9. About This Website
This website (kakupara.fujibit.com) does not use cookies and has no analytics tools or ads. The hosting provider may record access logs (IP address, browser type, etc.) for operation and security. Links to external sites such as the App Store and Google Play are governed by those sites' policies.
10. Revisions
We may revise this page in response to changes in law or in the App's features (for example, changes to the information collected or its recipients). Significant changes will be announced on this page and on the App's store pages. Revisions take effect when posted on this page.
